SsangYong Motor Company is a South Korean automaker that was founded in 1954 under the name Ha Dong-hwan Motor Workshop
In 1986, the company received its modern name – SsangYong Motor, which literally translates as “two dragons on a mountain”.
The company has gone through a series of changes in recent decades, including bankruptcy in 2009 before being acquired by China’s Mahindra & Mahindra. Despite this, SsangYong continues to design and produce cars with high quality and competitive prices.
Among the most popular models are Rexton, Korando, Tivoli and Actyon. In 2019, the company introduced its first electric model, the Korando e-Motion. Which was highly praised for its design and performance. In 2021, it also introduced a new model – Rexton G4, which has a modern design and technology.
