Acura is a Japanese car manufacturer owned by Honda. The brand was founded in 1986

when Honda decided to enter the premium car market. This was possible due to the fact that the Honda company already had a lot of experience in the production of quality cars, as well as due to the success of the Honda brand in the market.

Acura’s first car
Legend – was introduced in 1986. This car was well received by Japanese buyers and became an important step in the creation of the Acura brand. Several more models were subsequently introduced, including the Integra, NSX, Vigor and CL.

The NSX, launched in 1990, became the most famous car. It was a sports car, with a low profile, which was developed with the help of Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna. The NSX was characterized by high speed and handling, and also became the first Japanese car with an aluminum chassis.

In the 2000s, it began to expand its line of cars, introducing the MDX, RDX and ZDX models. In 2012, it presented the concept car NSX, which later became a real star of the brand. The new NSX was released in 2016.

Today, Acura continues to develop its line of cars, introducing new models with efficient engines and safety technologies. Acura also plans to expand its presence in the international market, including the market in Europe.
