Apollo Automobil is an automobile company founded in 2004 in Germany under the name “Roland Gumpert Sportwagenmanufaktur GmbH”. However, in 2010 the company was renamed “Apollo Automobil GmbH”.

The founder of the company was Roland Gumpert, who previously worked as an engineer at Audi. After leaving Audi, Gumpert started his own company to produce high-performance cars.

In 2012, the company presented its latest project – Apollo Arrow. This car was based on the company’s previous models, but had a more refined appearance and technical characteristics. The Apollo Arrow was powered by a 4.0-liter V8 engine that produced 1,000 horsepower. According to the company, this car could accelerate to 100 kilometers per hour in 2.9 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 360 kilometers.

Unfortunately, in 2016 Apollo Automobil was declared bankrupt due to financial problems

However, in 2017, the company acquired new investors who resumed production of the Apollo Arrow model.
